Teflon Flexx moves release of Love from the East EP from April to May

Ghanaian singer Teflon Flexx has finally announced the release date for his much anticipated sophomore EP titled Love from the East.

Initially scheduled for April, the Sandema native, has pushed back the EP as a sign of respect for his Muslim fans, who will be entering into their Ramadan fast in April through to early May.

Coming from the Upper East region, a chunk of the singers fan-base are predominantly Muslims and with his aim of finally cementing his spot in the Ghanaian music scene, Teflon is poised to see them jam to his EP.

Works on the EP are already done, with a close source revealing the project will have some high-profile features

The EP will mark 3 years since Teflon released his debut EP – Village Boy In Suit, and ‘Love From The East’ is set to show the singer’s growth and direction.

The date of the release is 14th May, as revealed on social media by the artist.

Teflon Flexx hints of upcoming EP – Fans get excited

2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards unsung winner Teflon Flexx seems to be gearing up to give fans a body of work, as he continues to hint of an upcoming EP on social media.

In a social media post the Madina hit maker vaguely wrote “The EP is coming”.

The singer neither put out a name or date but fans on social media are visibly excited about the development.

If the EP eventually comes it will be Teflon’s sophomore EP, as he started off his musical career with the Village Boy in Suit EP in 2018.

When Teflon was contacted he only asked fans to watch his space as he didn’t give details of his EP.

However, if you have been a follower of the singer on his social media you will realize he has been recently hanging out with a couple artists such as King Promise, Darkovibes, Fameye, and Kelvyn boy and fans suspect they might be on the upcoming EP.

Teflon has also been spotted around Sarkodie and Shatta Wale, so it seems this thoughts will linger around till the EP finally drops (hopefully this year).

So far in 2021, Teflon Flexx has only released one single titled Wicked Mood featuring Armani and Ypee thus there is a high possibility the next single might be from the yet to named EP.

Teflon Flexx: Fight Against the Spread and Contraction of COVID-19

The explosive spread of the Corona virus is such that although its fatality rate is relatively moderate, the sheer number of people who may get infected is astronomical. And with a large enough pool of cases and death. That level of trauma is simply untenable.

We do not as yet have the benefit of a vaccine or cure, so we are dependent on social and behavioral change to avert this disaster.

One way is to focus on individual behavioral change as a means of reducing the likelihood of getting – or passing on – the virus. This is where good hand hygiene and limited face touching come in. But people are people, and old habits die hard.

As a citizen with a voice of many that care about the well-being of my country and its citizenry, i plead that we all strongly adhere to the strict health guide to save lives. Its a collective responsibility

Everything you need to know about fast-rising Tamale star

The Temale-based artiste, whose area of specialization include Hip-hop, Afropop, Dancehall and other notable genres, said he had always had the passion for music right from infancy.

Teflon Flexx is one of the fastest rising Ghanaian musicians, who is about to take the music landscape by storm.

The Temale-based artiste, whose area of specialization include Hip-hop, Afropop, Dancehall and other notable genres, said he had always had the passion for music right from infancy.

Teflon Flexx, born Akaateba Christopher, says he’s driven by a burning passion for music and this is what motivates him to pursue music in addition to his education.

The former product of St Charles Minor Seminary cites Ghana’s biggest artiste, Sarkodie as his major influence.

“Sarkodie has always been my musical idol because he has proven that music can be very successful and he has really taken Ghanaian music to places and It is always going to be a dream come true to perform with or on the same stage with Sarkodie and I know hard work will get me there,” he said.

Giving a background information about how his career started, the young artist said; he started doing music in 2013. Teflon Flexx has been performing on-campus events(UDS- Wa Campus) whilst working to better himself since he started but says he “officially started music in 2018”.

When asked who he sounded like the fast-rising icon replied – “I’m not here to imitate anyone. I sound and copy myself and that’s what’s special about me.”

The singer illustrated the hard work he puts in his music which makes him feel he would be one of the most sought-after artistes in the foreseeable future.

He writes all his songs and has performed in some of the biggest shows in Wa, Tamale and Bolga in the Northern part of Ghana.

During his leisure time, he does some research to augment his craft. He watches documentaries, listens to music and read as well.

On what he wants to achieve with his music, he said; “My goal is to be influentially successful with music globally and

I want to be known as the person whose songs you dance to in the club and the person you listen to when you are down and alone.”

Teflon Flexx believes the current state of music needs sort of investments to create the right ambience for up and coming artistes like himself. Perhaps that’s why his favourite quote is, “If it must be done, it must be done well.”

You definitely have to watch out for this dude, he has what it takes to put Ghana on the map.
